Non-urgent advice: Medication
To safely prescribe your medication we ask that you request your prescription 3 days in advance. If your prescription needs to be authorised by the doctor this may take longer. Please speak with our helpful prescription team with any queries.Please use this service to request your regular medication and any acute (medication that you feel does not require a call from a Clinician. If you are feeling unwell, please complete an E-Consult or call reception and request a telephone call with a Clinician.Ways to order Prescriptions can be ordered in person at the surgery, at your Pharmacy, by post or on-line but NOT by telephone.The prescription desk is open between the hours of 8am and 6.00pm.
Non-urgent advice: Notice
Please allow 72 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed.
Any problems, please telephone the surgery and press Option 2.
To change your pharmacy nomination, follow these steps:
- Using the NHS App: Log in to the NHS App or website, go to
“View and manage prescriptions,” and select “Change your nominated pharmacy”. - Through Your GP: Contact your GP surgery to request a change
in your nominated pharmacy. They can update your records. - Directly at the Pharmacy: Visit the new pharmacy you want
to nominate and ask them to update your nomination. - Outstanding Prescriptions: Be aware that any outstanding prescriptions may
still arrive at your current nominated pharmacy until the change is processed.
