Alert:

Priority treatment for Veterans
If you have a health problem caused by your time in the armed forces, you will usually go on a waiting list before you receive care. However, you may be able to receive NHS care quicker than normal through priority treatment for veterans.
Priority treatment is not guaranteed. Receiving priority treatment depends on your situation and the nature of the treatment required. This includes:
if other people have a higher clinical need than you
the urgency of your treatment
the type of treatment you need
If you have served in the Military please let our Reception Team know, they can update your records.

We will be having our last spring COVID vaccine clinic on 21st May for anyone who may have missed their appointment. This is for 75 years and over or those that are immunosuppressed. This will be our last clinic until the autumn campaign.

Routine Appointments

The aim of our service is to provide access to patients on the day of their request to see a clinician. We ask that patients contact us on a day that they are available to take a call and / or be seen in person.

Urgent Appointments

The practice operates a daily on-call team Monday to Friday. Patients requiring an urgent appointment, will see or speak to a member of the on call team, all of whom can prescribe. This system ensures that the most appropriate health care professional sees you, and that the duty doctor has adequate time to deal with emergencies that occur on the day.

We strive to provide an appointment with a healthcare professional within 24 hours. If you require an appointment with a specific GP there may be a longer wait.

Evening Surgery

Evening surgery appointments are now available. These are held on Monday – Thursday evenings from 6.30pm – 8pm. These appointments can be pre booked. We hope that these appointments will be especially useful for those patients that find it difficult to attend the surgery during the normal working day.

GP+ and OOH

Suffolk GP+ is for patients who need a doctors appointment, or can’t attend their surgery on a weekday. Appointments are offered in the evening and at weekends and are booked through your GP Practice. For more information please click here.

OOH service is provided by NHS 111, please call 111 for medical assistance when the surgery is closed.
