We currently have an active Patient Participation Group of patients and staff which meets three to four times a year and welcomes new members.
Our PPG is involved in the creation of the practice survey, deciding on which issues need to be raised, looking at the survey results and helping the practice to decide on subsequent action.
We are looking for patients from all corners of our patient population, from those enjoying retirement to teenagers, fulltime parents, fulltime or part time workers, carers and those been cared for.
The commitment is not onerous, we would like to meet up face to face three or four times a year.
Last year the PPG organised and held an information day for 'Dementia', this years efforts were for 'Carers' and they had a very successful day on May 5th 2017 with a fantastic turnout.
Next year will hopefully bring another informative day on a different topic for our patients - this will be advertised nearer the time, so watch this space!!

Your Patient Group
invites you to learn about proposed plans to make some changes to the Minor Injuries Unit and to start a new “Frailty Service” to support the elderly in Felixstowe
Find out what is going on; our Patient Group thinks that the MIU changes are relatively small and a Frailty Service could be a positive step to help our elderly population.
